A gas safety inspection helps to ensure that gas appliances are in good working order, are preforming efficiently and are safe to be used. Apart from the flammable nature of gas, we would like to remind you of the dangers of the ‘silent killer’ – Carbon monoxide (CO), which is a colourless, odourless, tasteless, poisonous gas which can be emitted by faulty appliances powered by any fuel that burns.
Our Gas Engineers are Gas Safe Registered and qualified to carry out gas safety inspections and provide Gas Safety Certificates for landlords, tenants and estate agents.
If there are any issues with any inspected appliance which results in a failure, you will be notified immediately.
We’ll provide a copy of the Gas Safety Certificate so that you can pass on to your tenants. Peace of mind so they know everything’s safe and ready to use.
What’s included with the service
When you choose Ford Plumbing and Heating, you benefit from our boiler expertise as well as using an accredited Gas Safe Engineer. Our engineer will make sure your boiler is safe and working well when we do your annual service. And you’ll get a checklist of everything we’ve done.
The engineer will:
- Check for leaks and signs of wear
- Test the gas pressure
- Ensure there are no carbon monoxide leaks
- Complete your landlord Gas Safety Certificate
